Pied Kingfisher, Ceryle rudis

Sitting on the bridge waiting for a fish to pass under it.

In we go the kingfisher i was after is in the water the other is wndering what happened
both were after the same fish I think?

In this photo there is 4 breeds of birds The little white Egret, female moorhen, The female Purple gallenule and 4 Pied kingfishers.






The kingfishers play area It was great watching the fishers today it was almost like they were practicing to catch fish. they were diving into the Nile mostly without taking a fish, these guys never miss a catch, thats why I say they were playing.
